    White Lake is unique in that it has a white sandy bottom and crystal clear waters.  The first commercial opearation on White Lake was opened in 1901.  The town was incorporated in 1951.  White Lake has been called the most beautiful body of water in the eastern United States.

    The North Carolina Travel and Tourism Division bills it as "the most used lake in North Carolina.

The White Lake Resort summer Ministry is a joint effort of the churches of the Bladen Baptist association, other churches that desire to do ministry with us, and interested individuals.

All of us who minister here welcome you to White Lake. Whether you plan to be here for the week-end or for the summer, we are here to help make your stay a pleasant one.

We believe the most important relationship in this life is that between a human being and the Father and Creator of mankind. Therefore we would like to share with you the following:

1. God loves you and gave His Son to die for your sins.

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for our sins." Romans 5:8

2. God desires that you be saved.

"(The Lord is) not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." 2 Peter 3:9

3. You cannot earn or work your way to heaven.

"For by grace are you saved, through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: not of works, lest anyone should boast."

Ephesians 2:8,9

4. You can be saved today.

"Whosoever shall can upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13

"Behold now is the accepted time; behold now is the day of salvation." 2 Corinthians 6:2

COUNTDOWN TO BECOMING A CHRISTIAN

3 -- Admit
Confess to God you are a sinner.  Repent and turn away from your sin. 
(Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23; 1 John 1:9; Acts 3:19)

2 -- Believe
 Trust that Jesus is God's Son 
and that God sent Jesus to save people from their sins.
(Romans 5:8; Acts 4:12; Acts 16:31; John 3:16; 1 Peter 3:18; John 14:6)

1 -- Commit
 Give your life to Jesus. Ask Him to be your Savior and Lord.
(Romans 10:9-10; Romans 10:13; Matthew 16:24; Luke 9:23)
